Valuation & Offer Terms

1. How We Calculate Your Offer

Carnamic Instant Offer uses current market data, similar vehicles for sale in your area, auction results, and your vehicle details to estimate a fair purchase price. The number you see online is an initial valuation and is not a final purchase agreement.

Your valuation is based on, among other things:

• Year, make, model, trim, and options of your vehicle.
• Odometer reading and mileage you report.
• Vehicle history factors such as prior accidents or title brands (if known).
• Current market conditions and demand for similar vehicles.
• Condition details you provide (interior, exterior, tires, mechanical, etc.).

2. Inspection & Verification

• All offers are subject to in-person inspection and verification at a participating dealership or buying center.
• If the actual condition, equipment, mileage, or history of your vehicle differs from the information you provided, your offer may be adjusted or withdrawn.
• We may use third-party reports (e.g., vehicle history providers) to help verify title brands, prior accidents, and odometer readings.

3. Validity Period (7 Days / 500 Miles)

• Unless otherwise stated in writing, your offer is typically valid for 7 calendar days and up to 500 additional miles from the time it is generated, whichever occurs first.
• If more than 7 days have passed or more than 500 miles have been added to the odometer, we may need to update or re-run your valuation.

4. Vehicle Eligibility

We generally require that:

• You have a transferable, valid title in your name (or proof of authorized selling rights).
• There are no undisclosed liens, salvage, or branded titles that would materially affect value.
• The vehicle is not a dismantled, incomplete, or non-running parts vehicle (unless we clearly agree otherwise).
• The vehicle has not sustained certain types of severe damage we may choose not to purchase (e.g., significant frame damage, flood, or fire), at our sole discretion.

5. “Beat Your Offer” + $100 Guarantee

From time to time, Carnamic Instant Offer may promote a guarantee that we will beat a written offer from a well-known, reputable car-buying company and add $100 on top. To qualify:

• You must present a current written offer from a well-known, reputable car-buying company. The offer must:
  • Be in writing (printed or clearly viewable in an app/email).
  • Show the VIN, year, make, model, and mileage of the same vehicle you are presenting to us.
  • Show an expiration date that has not passed.
• We must be able to verify the offer and that it is genuine and not altered (for example, we may contact the company or review the original email/app).
• The vehicle we inspect must match the vehicle in the competing offer in all material respects, including VIN, options, mileage, and condition.
• If we choose to purchase your vehicle, we will typically match the competing offer and add $100 to the purchase price. We reserve the right to decline to purchase any vehicle at our sole discretion.
• This guarantee may exclude certain vehicle types (such as exotic, specialty, very high-mileage, branded-title, or commercial vehicles). Any exclusions will be communicated by store.

6. Payoffs, Negative Equity & Payment

• If you have an outstanding loan or lease, we will typically pay the lienholder directly based on the payoff information you and/or the lienholder provide.
• If the payoff amount is higher than your agreed-upon purchase price, you may be responsible for paying the difference (negative equity) before or at the time of sale.
• Final payment methods (check, electronic, etc.) and timing may vary by dealership and are subject to their policies and verification processes.

7. No Obligation to Sell

You are not obligated to sell your vehicle to us after receiving an offer. However, once you sign the final sale documents and we accept the vehicle, the sale is complete and cannot be reversed except as required by law.

8. Right to Decline or Adjust Offers

• We may decline to purchase any vehicle for any reason permitted by law.
• We may adjust or rescind an offer if new information is discovered (for example, undisclosed damage, odometer discrepancies, title issues, or inaccurate equipment/trim).
• Online valuations may change at any time based on updated market data, even before the end of the 7-day / 500-mile window, but we will honor any written offer we have already provided you within its stated validity period, subject to inspection and verification.

9. Relationship to the Terms of Use

These Valuation & Offer Terms are part of and subject to the Carnamic Instant Offer Terms of Use. If there is a conflict between this page and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will control, except with respect to specific promotional details described here.
